questions about a swap
my friend is getting an 1987 integra 5speed.
i havent looked at the engine, but i was told that it has a blown head gasket.
anyway, i'm sure its a SOHC 1.6 non VTEC. (if i'm wrong please let me know)
how hard would it be to swap in a B16a with cable tranny etc.?
he got the car for $550 and i've seen it, its in decent shape, even runs, but probably has warped head to go with the blown head gasket.
anyway, it wouldnt hurt to spend the cash to do the swap as long as its not to hard.
thoughts????

Re: questions about a swap (Speedz)
All 86-89 Integras came with a DOHC engine. The ZC engine is basically a D-series engine that is DOHC. You can swap in a JDM ZC engine which is 130hp, whereas the US Integras only have around 115hp. I'm not going to list all the info since you could find a much better write up than I could ever do right here. http://www.hasport.com/ZCprimer.htm
