Default Question bout S1 tranny for an LS swap into a CRX

okay here it goes...im doing an LS swap into a CRX si...i found an s1 tranny for it and the guy said that it needs rebuilding. he said that it needed a new bell housing. he later said that i could use my stock si bell housing off my tranny. he also said that the syncros needed to be realigned. my questions are...
-would this s1 work with the LS?
-would the bell housing off the si tranny work on the s1?
-how much would it cost to have that done if possible?
-how much would it cost to have the syncros realigned?
-and any other things you might throw in
well if you can...let me know asap!!! its my first swap and people say to post my questions on here to see what the best answers are.

I use the s1 w/ my ls/vtec setup. Crazy short gears. It`s fun but annoying on the freeway. Unless you are getting an INCREDIBLE deal, just find another tranny. they are a dime a dozen..

I definatly would look elsewhere for a tranny, because it sounds like the guy doesnt know what he's talking about. Your si tranny casings -will not- match to the S1 tranny. And synchros dont get "realigned", they get replaced. If the case is trashed, and the synchros are shot, then its not worth the money fixing it. You can find a complete tranny for $250-350, so its not worth even getting that one IMO. Also, what year LS are you swapping into your rex?
