Question for any h22'ed civic OWNer's
I got 96 civic ex coupe, Lude type s swap, type sh after market header. I need to know what exhaust will work under my car. Most aftermarket exhaust's that I have looked at, have 2 1/4 inch tubing while my headers run at 2 1/2 inch. Can anyone explain what exhaust I will need, or what will fit.

Re: Question for any h22'ed civic OWNer's (Sixgundone)
Not every exhaust for Civics is 2 1/2" I guess looking around for a basic 2.5" exhaust and testpipe/high flow cat would be your best bet. I can't think of any offhand but it shouldn't be too hard to find. You also have the choice of going with custom resonated piping.
Some people might argue that 2.5" piping is a little much for stock or near stock H22's..

Back pressure is never good. You never want back pressure, you want an optimal exhaust velocity.

Re: (uncle)
Fab your own...thats what I do on every car I own. You get the position, size, and angle you want. Screw mass production. I personally used 2.5" on my H22 Civic...works very well.
