Question about wiring harness for my swap?..Please help
I have basically a OBD2 GSR motor going in my 93 Hatchback DX. Now I know I have to wire in Vtec to the ECU, but besides that, is there any reason why I SHOULDN'T use the OBD2 GSR engine harness?.
I have already done the swap and one particular code I'm throwing is a IACV code. I have already tested the IACV to make sure that it is functioning correctly, and it is. The only time the RPM's fluctuate is when the car warms up completely.
Any ideas there?.
One other thing that I'm having a problem with is when I warm it up completely and just blip the throttle fast, it seems like the RPMs can't keep up with the throttle opening that fast. Basically a slight hesitation when you hit the throttle fast. Would cam gear timing adjustment or distributor timing fix this?. I have not had a chance to mess with the timing yet so I just need some ideas.
Are people having problems using OBD2 GSR harnesess having any trouble like this. And what would you guys recommend?
thanks, Mike
