Default need help badly .. pleaASEE

alright im not doing the swap, my friend is and im just writing what he told me to say cause he doesnt have internet access.

if anyone could help it would be awesome ... just some information please

we have a 96 civic hatch dx and a 96 jdm full type r swap.

we have all of the si mounts so the engine is sitting in good, but the problem is that we need a correct wire harness. I have a 99 si harness and everything clips in but the only thing that doesnt is the ecu . So is there a jumper harness that i need that will work or i heard a gsr engine harness will work fine.

can someone please read this and send me some sites or just tell me what i need to get this whip on the r o a d

thankkss

An obd2a to obd2b harness will not work. You have an obd2B harness in an obd2a car.
So, at the ecu, you have 2 obd2B plugs(from the engine harness) and 1 obd2A plug(from the main harness).
The obd2A to obd2B jumper harnesses are made for all obd2B plugs, not just 2.

You need to put the stock '96 civic harness on the ITR motor, add the wires for vtec solenoid, vtec oil pressure switch, and knock sensor.
Then you can plug in your '96 JDM ITR ecu.
