Hey, so i'm trying to get everything ready to start my h22 finally after months of work, and I was hookin up all my grounds and the battery stuff and turned my key to the on position, as far over without starting the engine, and noticed that all the lights came on except the check engine light, and the engine lights. So I'm wondering why thats not coming on. Also, there's a cable coming out of my harness that could connect to the battery or maybe its a ground, I'm not sure, just wondering, does the wiring harness need to be connected to the battery to get power? Thanks for any help.

That wire coming out could it be the one that connects to the fuse box by the battery? Just a suggestion.

Yeah I already got a wire that connects to the fuse box, to the starter, and one the hooks up to my abs motor relay, and for the negative side i just have a ground coming from the car. Is there anything else I need? Thanks for any help in advance

check your grounds agiain there should be one on the tranny and one on the driver side valve cover then check to see if you engine lite comes on
