Default putting 94+ b-series gears in a 92-93 tranny, is it possible?

I know there are similarities but I wasn't sure if I could just take everything out of a 94+ b-series hydro tranny and swap it into a 92-93 Cable tranny.

Any input? Or what can I use?

yes this it is possible to put hydro B-series gearing into a YS1 transmision; you just might have to shave the inside of the cable tranny housing to fit a 94+ GSR or ITR final drive's ring gear though.

Which ys1 though? I got a ys1 from a 92-93 LS and I believe the tranny I got is either an ls or a sirII b16.

I know its not a type r doesn't have lsd.

doesn't matter, all YS1's are capable of holding hydro gearing.'

here's a little fun fact, sonething you can chew:

YS1 LS gearing is exactly the same ratios etc. as hydro LS gearing, ring gear + diff size and all. Same with B16 hydro gearing minus the gear ratios tho.

Thanks for the help.
