Okay that makes sense to me, so if you could give me a better sense or directions on what stays and what needs to go and what needs to be modified...Like to ask first before doing...

Re: (dragline)

Thanks dragline I appreciate it alot! I got it all hooked up and sure enough a night and day difference it doesnt cut off at 6500 goes to 8k with a breeze I knew I had a spoon chip ecu. Vtec kicks in at 5k. It's a total different beast. Losing traction in any gear. so my 15.2 was with no vtec. lol It has to be atleast a second or more faster!!! Pulls like a motha!!! time for a tach light cuz the thing has no signs of stoping past 7300 https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif

Re: (WhiteSol)

Here is the results I was pretty happy with the outcome for the first time at the track with VTEEEEC! Definetly need some stickier tires my shitty hankooks aren't helpin especially on my 60'. My R/T sucks too. My best run I ran a built/aftermarket STI and beat him by a nose. He definetly had me off the line obviously by bout 4 cars. I remind you this car is untuned and running a p13 ecu. I was shifting on the last run 7-7500 each gear. Every run so far I have gotten quicker and quicker the stoping point is close by high 13s woulda been achievable last night if I had another run. This is just a beginning.

http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...ZkMzF5NTQx.jpg

Elevation 1320 above
R/T .869 shitty!
60' 2.363 definetly shitty! need to hit 4500 off the line next time
330 6.162
1/8 9.208
MPH 81.32
1000 11.826
1/4 14.00
MPH 101.89

I did beat Hasports H22 crx by a tenth...

Re: (KEVlN)

the ETA is there. You just need traction. you will get into mid 13's easy.

stuff that dont help much stock header and downpipe and 2" exhaust with cherry bomb (short-term use)

Ya that 2" has to go, I would unbolt the exhaust from the downpipe at the track.

Re: (ExplicitSpeed360)

Your trap speed is screamin high 13's easy. I ran 1mph slower and hit 13.8 with my h coupe. So im sure you're well on your way. I had some beat up slicks though and was hittin 2.0 60's.

Good job though! Keep it up! https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Re: (dragline)

I also had a re-occuring CEL problem that effected my idle at the track on my 14.0 run my idle would pulsate 500 rpm it also effected throttle response from 1-3k rpm. I since found the problem it was the O ring in the IACV it was leaking air apperantely. The throttle response is definetly improved under 5k rpm. So another track pass is in deed needed in the next few weeks. I will also take the exhaust off too! Shift light and VAFC is definetly needed in the near future. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Re: (ExplicitSpeed360)

i would think you could do mid 13's easily. being that most eg/ej h22 swapped cars run high 13's all day. lack of traction may be it. but r/t has nothing to do with your overall time. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif

Re: (N_A_is_best)

a traction bar is pretty straight forward. I even run my tabs for the rods underneatch instead of infront of the bar. I have no problems and love it, very effective keeps nose down and straight! Only problems I think you could have would be if the welds arent good and if the rods them selves are too tight etc. Thanks for the comments! https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Comments on the collective racing h22 crx: They didnt have to cut out the driver side chassis mount the could of used it. But it was a PR kit I believe not a custom. My mount kit you can keep the driver side chassis mount and do none to minimal cutting on the passenger side wheel well opening from the inside of the wheel well.

Also I am producing the mount kit for the public EF 88-91 Civic/Crx h22a mount kit!

That is correct. Always try to use the harness that comes with the chassis.

Re: (repn a lude)

HaHa who brought this back from the dead???? 1/7/07

No accurate times of the car yet, last spring I was able to manage constant 106 mph trap speed, I had too many issues with the car at the time last year, vafc was glitching with my vtec, so my vtec would have a very noticable delay and then a sudden oomppph in power which might of played havik on the old engine and of course ET's showed something wrong 14.0. I didn't have an exhaust as well 2.5" no muffler, bogged off the line too much...the engine was way too rich with my jdm spoon chipped p13...

The engine has been since rebuilt (stock internals still) and has about 3k miles on it, night and day difference from switching ecu's and using Crome, p28 crome tuned on the dyno it made 200 whp and 168 ft lbs of torque...a pick up of 15 whp and 11 ft lbs of torque from last go around...with just I/H/E Our Own H22A header 2.5" collector...2.5 mandrel bent exhaust system...I will be heading up to the track the begining of next month to try and get her dialed in ONCE AGAIN...with street tires...I predict a 12 second pass this year with street tires...

A customer's car nottin special recenty went 13.3 @ 104 worn bald street tires, jdm h22a, shitty ebay header, intake, 2 1/4" exhaust, p13 ecu, I believe his engine was putting down 160-170 whp. So makes me believe a 12 second pass may be achievable this year...the car weighs in this year at 2050 lbs... https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif
