had quite a bit of rust repair on this one, changed the passenger side quarter and 1/2 the wheel tub, made patch where the gas door was and made lower portion of the driver side quarter panel, epoxied everything then put the mud on.

Roof chop? sure why not, I figured it would be easier and last longer in the long run to replace both windshield pillars due to a lot of corrosion, donor car was from Cali and minty so why not, so spliced into the pillars and fishplated them for reinforcement turned out good.

wow nice. why did you decide rear engine instead of using a CRV or wagon trans for example? how's it fitting back there so far? and one final question, what's that going to do to your weight distribution in the car?

Everything fits fine, lots of measurements were taken and everything is square, as for the weight distribution there is another thread and both cars are very similar but he put his on scales check it out its Project S.W.A.G. Goin this route is probably much quicker and less of a headache, its fairly straight forward, plus we already have a few crv's and I'll probably post a build on Heights Im going to do a b20/vtec turbo setup.

i didn't even notice you're from here. nice!! i wanna do an AWD to mine, kinda like RallySol. b20/vtec would be soo sick. i'm def looking for that build on heights once you make it. i'll for sure follow both of them. taking a look at yours might help me out with mine a bit. if you ever need a hand let me know and i'll see if i can make it to the city.

Got the quarters all primed as well as the windshield pillars, mixed up a big pail of some Milano Red base coat(ppg envirobase) which will be topped with some ppg dc4000 clear. Also finished up the bay, hoping to have the car painted monday or tuesday if all goes well then its time to assemble it and then drive the **** out of it

On another thread it was about 45% front 55% rear. give or take. I'm guessing this is about the same.

I want a ride in it when its done and i'm in the city next. debating how to go about doing mine, awd, or rwd. seems like rwd would be easier ish.

thanks guys, should be up and running sometime soon, we've already took it for a couple rips with a B16 in it and seems to drive nice. Just doing the assembly now and have to make a fuel cell, as for the tuning Im not sure whats happening yet, the car is actually my dads so I just get to donate my labor for very cheap hahaha.

On a possible good note my dad may be buying a sleeved block with pistons, rods and all new bearings, if this happens Im hoping I can talk him into doing a nice turbo motor for this car rather then the JRSC, track it and try run some quick times, car already a ITR tranny with LSD.

I finally remembered another question i've been meaning to ask. What are you doing for roof storage? Also, are you going to be cutting your trunk for ventilation in the "engine bay"?
