Problem with my F20b very strange
Hey guys Im having a problem with my Swap I have an F20b in a 95 civic I am running an obd 1 p28 i am running civic 240cc injectors and the stock civic z6 harness. I started my car up with no set backs. it started right up and it revs to 5000rpms immeditly. My p28 is chipped with an F20b base map and i have an h22 upperintake with the 2 wire IACV. I can't seem to feel any vacuume leaks but i can still feel air getting sucked past the throttle plate. I have also unpluged the IACV and tried starting it still no change. Any advice?

Did you take out the runners for the butterflies? that will do it if you did and you better change those injectors asap before you get pissed at why your motor ran so good but blew up.

I actually put the obd2 f20b injectors back in i had to change the plugs a lilttle bit so they would work. And yes I also took out the butterflys but I sealed up both ends so there shouldn't be a vaccum leak there. I am thinking that it is the crappy felpro gaskets that I bought for the plentum. The onlything I can think to do is remove them and honda bond it.

Re: Problem with my F20b very strange
Well check the throttle cable to see if it is opening the throttle cause removing the butterflies puts the plenum farther down making the throttle open

the throttle cable is not even hooked up and i capped off the whole upper plentum. I will check for vacuum leaks with carb cleaner.

The problem ended up being some extra gasket material around where the intake bolts to the head. when i put the engine together a year and a half ago i neglected to remove all of it haha my bad. any way runs like a cham now no problems great power. Beat a mustang gt and an rx8 just a few hours ago so im in good shape. thanks guys
