prelude swap help
i have an 89 honda prelude. i have swapped an h22a4 under the hood i am having an issue with getting my injectors to work. i have spark. i am using an obd1 system with my original wiring which doesnt seem to be hard but something is not right.
1 question is can a p05 burned for v-tech support my engine and run with out starving it for fuel. i have been told by large number if people that it can be done.
question 2 . can some one help me get my injectors to work.
i have tested and tested, but still have yet to accomplish my goal.
i have tried a known good ecu. so it has to be in the wiring somewhere.
i have been told that the resistor block has to be by passed. since that computer doesn't need the resistor box according to diagrams.
i am using an obd0 to obd1 jumper harness.
i have tried swaping the to outer wires on tps.
i have checked the main relay by flow chart.
what oins should i check next?
any suggestions will help thanks

first off, you have some bad info.
The need for a resistor box is determinded by the injectors, not the ecu. If you are using the H22 injectors, keep the resistor box.
Other than that, how do you know the injectors aren't working? Checking voltage? Not seeing/smelling fuel? Does the pump prime when you turn the key to the ON position? Does the engine turn over and just not fire?
As for the ecu, as long as it is chipped with a program for an h22, you're good to go. However, if you don't know what program is on it, you need to reburn a chip with the correct basemap.

Re: (Bakeoff)
thanks so much man. i am glad some one cleared that up for me with the resistors. and on the other comment. i do know they are not firing be cause i tested with the noid light. nothing happened and for the reason stating fluid will start the car .
what is the chances of having a bad sensor in the distributor. i had a bad ignition mod in it before and replaced only that.
2 sensors bad in 1 distibutor is highly unlikely. but i guess it could be possible.
this guy said monday i can put my ecu in his car to try to diagnose. and put his in my car which he has a p28.
