PR4 to P75, when did honda switch over?
I just bought a swap the other day, and I got to see it in the car and everything, talked to the owner, got papers, etc.
It was in a 94-95 integra LS coupe. I looked over the entire motor, and the kid swears that it is the original, but either way it runs good and is clean so I bought it.
What confuses me is this. I thought that all B18B1 were P75 units.
This one has a date stamp of 12/93 on the head, is labeled PR4, block is labeled B18B1, but back of block has PR4 stamp. Intake manifold has P75 stamp.
Is this typical for a 94-95 motor? I'm just curious whether or not the head has maybe been replaced or something similar.
So what is the story behind the switch from PR4 to P75?
