Default poormans type r question

i have a 91 civic si with a b16 in it the b16 is getting pretty wore out, my frineds grandpa has a b18c1 laying around so i was wondering if it would be a stupid idea to try to put my b16 head on that gsr block and put it in my ef

Nothing wrong with doing it. The B16 head will yield a little lower compression than the GSR head, that's about it.

ok sweet i dont know about that much about this sort of stuff though will everything be cool with my current motor being an obd0 and the gsr being and obd1

Yes, that is fine. You will have to take one or 2 sensors off of your old engine (fan switch, possibly VTEC solenoid since they have different plugs) but it will be a pretty painless swap.
