Please help me put a B18c6 into my 92 vx
Yes I promise I did a search. I have talked to a couple of people and heard alot of different things. I have the whole swap complete except for the wiring harness. The engine is out of a 2001 Euro ITR. I talked some guy at jdmhondaparts and he said that I needed a obd-1 injectors, alternator and to rewire my distributor. Others say all I need is the OBD-2 wiring harness and i'll be good to go. Can some one please help me out and tell me were to buy the parts. I tried to call holeshot racing (714)-772-VTEC but I guess they do not like to make $$ because they never answer thier phone. If anyone can help me I would really apprecaite it. Thank you,
Ian

Re: Please help me put a B18c6 into my 92 vx (Nerv2g)
Well I ended up order my suff for sohfast.
They did not have a ITR harness an the guys there told me that the GSR harness would work. I bought an OBD2 GSR harness and just to be safe I bought OBD1 injectors, injectors clips and the OBD1 alternator plug. I hope that it works,

Run a search on topics created by this user also check for topics participated in https://honda-tech.com/zerouser?cmd=...e&id=999297870
I believe this is for a CX, but I will allow you to do your reading then I would suggest if you have any further questions you may want to contact the user listed above.

All you need is an OBDII Integra engine harness and an OBDI P72 ECU (the B18C6 is basically a GSR right?). I will allow you to use the complete OBDII motor with components, yet run it as OBDI with the correct ECU. I have a 92 VX with a 99 B18C1, I did the swap myself and have it setup the same way so I know this works. You can also do what the guy from JHP told you, but that's just spending extra $ on parts that you technically already have.

Re: Please help me put a B18c6 into my 92 vx (VTECVillain)
Thanks for the help guys I really apprecaite the link it was really helpful.
Well the b18c6 is the euro type r. It has both +'s and -'s The horsepwoer is only 190 but we do get the higher conpression 11:1 and the JDM final drive. The euro version of the GSR motor is the b18c4. I can't reallly give you any number off the top of my head. Anyway, I figured that jdmhondaparts was trying to rip me a little bit. Well can't wait to through it in i'll keep you guys posted.
