Default Pic. request: 90-93 accord shifter assembly for H22EG swap

Does anyone have a picture of the shifter assembly out of a 90-93 accord 5 speed? I'm hitting up all the junk yards this week, but I want to make sure I know what I'm getting.

when you guys cut the hole for the linkage, did you do it by where the cupholders used to be, or did you do it through the firewall?

Actually if you look on the bottom of the car there is like a little square area that looks like its already there for you to cut. However I would measure a bit from the inside. Mark it then drill a small hole so you know that you are in the right area.

Id highly reccomend the placeracing shifter box for the car. It allows you to run the cables under the car and you will need to cut a hole which a diagram is sent to go by. This allows the shifter to set under the car, and its alot more simple to install, and doesnt sit up all 12 inches above the console like an s10 or some ****. It drops the throw a little bit also.

I think it cost me 200 bucks?

The extra 125 spent on getting the place racing box could go to somewhere else more important.. Maybe a dual core radiator.. But if ease of install is your thing and money is not an object then that box is your best bet..

To each their own. an h22a swap isnt for cost savers in my oppinion. I just have a friend with a dc2 with the accord shifter, it looks ***** and part of the center console does not fit back in. Maybe he did it wrong who knows, i just spent 125 to not run it through the floor and cut 45 holes and measure up and test fit and all that nonsence, also i ran a larger front swaybar and my friend had issues with the dc2 and the swaybar.

Correction: 2 holes. And yes, your friend probably did it wrong.
