I am either gonna buy a motor from Passord:jdm.com or Osakajdmmotors.com .
Prices for jdm itr are.. PASSWORD= 96-97 itr comp. motor. $3999 wout/shipping
98+ itr comp. $4799 same
OSAKA= 96+ jdm itr comp. swaps for $4200wout/shiping
-Seems theres more people who buy from Osaka and they say in there adds online that they will match anyones prices so i think i will see if they will match passwords $3999 deal.. what do you guys think? should the motor come with a exaust manifold? should i try and make them throw in a jdm 4-1 for the deal?Should i go with the 98+ rather than the 96-97 for any reasons other than mileage/4-1 header, or is there any other differences.I dont understand about the final drive in the itr,what is it?please help me out with all these questions.. thanks,Randy

also.. im considering HMO...they say they will smote prices so im gonna see if they can smote password:jdm price of $3999 for a complete jdm ITR swap. please i would just like a and the name you would go with.. no argueing over which is better for these reasons,..etc... and if you could just answer some of the questions i had below the choice you would pick.. thank you

Do some research before you throw your money into an engine. You have wayyy, to many questions man. Understand what makes the R spec different besides the the fact that's it's a type R, then decide what shop you want to buy it from.

Well i talked to the one of the guys at password jdm and they said the difference between the 96 and 98 spec was that the 98 spec came with jdm 4-1 headers, optimized ecu, and closer gear ratio tranny.

Good luck, id get my hands on the 96 spec from them,which is what im trying to do, but its up to you
