Plus I need a 99-00 > 96-98 obd2 conversion harness. I have to pass emissions so OBD1 is not an option.

I have the a/c compressor on the b16a2 so I do not need to get a new one. I am guessing the belts from the 2 engines are not the same? Do I need new accessory belts? I will not be converting to power steering.

I am going to buy a 99-00 si rear mount, and ac mount. I can reuse all other mounts?

In the manual it says to replace a ton of washers. Do I need to order these from Honda as well? OR do I just go buy appropriate metric washers?

I guess I am going to be draining pretty much all the fluids before the swap? Any suggestions on what to replace them with (obviously the corresponding fluid )? I guess the question is do I need aftermarket stuff, or if need is the incorrect term whether I will see any benefit from using upgraded tranny oil or similar.

Also as long as the linkage is out of the car I would like to get a short shifter. Any suggestions on brands?

Wish me luck. Luckily I will be traveling a lot from Monday-Friday so if anything catostrophic happens I only have to bum rides 2 days a week

i am confused. Are those lists all things that you need from those cars in order to put a b16a2 into your 97 hatch. i have a 97 hatch with a 2000 b16a2 in it, and I didn't need half of that stuff. I passed emissions no problem.

What did you do about your ecu? I know some of that stuff pertains to a del sol vtec b16a3. So do I need new washers from Honda? Did you replace all of yours? Thanks.
