p8r head on a LS?
i have a freshly built ls bottom end with p30 pistons and a p8r head. everything i find is he said she said bs. will this comboination work? has any one done this kind of build?

yea i know that but i have read of people doing it...i think it would still seal but idk if it would put too much stress on the top of the cylinder walls

well it is in my car sounds healthy n idles perfect. compression test had 210 across the board. i am still breaking it in so ill see how it really is soon enough. thanks to every1 that gave legit information.

well.. practically it will work regardless of the opening..
also just to clarify that the stresses on the cylinder head will be the same since the stress is counted by the projected area as demonstrated from fluid mechanics..
but what my concern is.. the compression stroke and the exhaust flow after the combustion since there are sharp corners in the chamber..

I have the set up. Freshly machined head on a 250k block and trans and I'm running stronger then a lot of Hondas around here. Just make sure you get the b20 head gasket.
