P74/75 B18B question?
I'm getting ready to put a '96 B18B engine (OBD2) in my '94 cx hb (OBD1). Now, as stated on hazone.com the '96 engine I have has a P75 ecu which I realize won't work w/ my OBD1 wiring. The same web site says the 92-95 acura ls ecu is a P74/75. I assuming this is the ecu I need, but a different source says that the 94-95 ls is a P74 and P75. < are these two different ecu's and if so is the P75 from the 94,95 the same as the P75 from the '96-00 ls? I need to know what ecu to get to make it work. I want to run it as an OBD1. I hope this makes sense.

PR4, P74, and P75. They all have the same program on them....so no single one of them is better than the other, just for the record. Any of these OBD1 LS ecu's will work in your 94 CX. Just make sure the plugs are OBD1 style plugs, by taking a look at your CX/P05 ecu. In fact bring it with when you go pick up your LS ecu to make sure you're getting an OBD1 ecu and not an OBD2 ecu on accident.
now, for 96+ LS's, there is an OBD2 version of the P75 and I think P74 ecu as well. So MAKE SURE you look at the onboard ecu plugs; and they match your CX ecu's onboard plugs, then you'll be good to go.

Re: P74/75 B18B question? (Katman)
Excellent! Thanks for the great answer. I had to make sure. Someone has a P75 from a '95 ls and I wanted to make sure it would work. I was confussed, but I see that they just kept the name the same (P75) and just changed the plugs for the OBD2 ls's. I'll be sure to double check the plugs for compatability. Thanks Katman.
