Default p54 a/c tension wheel

Can I use my d16 a/c tension wheel with the p54/crv bracket or do I have to use a B series wheel?

what year D16?
from what i've found, there are two different style tensioner wheels.

the "pivot" style:

and the "slide" style:

if your D16 has the same style as the P54 bracket(which i believe has the pivot style),then you can use it.

i didnt use a tensioner. i have an unorthodox underdrive pully and i got the belt 28.5 inches long and it was a little tight when i got it on but i started up the engine and ran for a few min and then i shut it off and it had perfect tension.

Why post that? It has nothing to do with anything...

The part numbers are the same for the wheels (slide or pivot), but the bolt that holds them is different.

Go to buypartsdirect.com and compare the part numbers for the pulley. If that doesn't help try a dealer and compare the two part numers.

Just get the bolt that is for your style, if the pulleys are the same part number, than what's the problem?

Oh, you mean like is there a difference between one slide style adjuster and another slide style adjuster? I doubt it, but knowing Honda something small and asinine like that would be.

One of the slider styles is longer than the other slider styled ones? Or are you asking if one is?

Not slider, pivot style.
Im really asking if one is another size. Ive never seen the actual brackets to know. But it wouldnt surprise me if one is different. (and w/ my luck, I'd buy that one and be screwed)

Ok, I got you now. You know, I have both, one I know where it's at, but the old one I replaced is in a bag in my basement. If no one hits this up before tomorrow, I'll go look when I get home.
