a b16 has smaller combustion chambers therefore will raise ur compression a little bit. For any B series swap (hydrolic tranny anyways) you will need b seres mounts, a b series shift linkage, b sereis axles and b series intermediate (halfshaft). If your planning to boost later without building the motor, look moreso into using an LS bottom end.

you dont have a neighborhood friendly honda tuning shop?!?!
well if you want boost... personally i would go ls cheeper engine starts with lower compresion or really just keep your d and run at like 10lbs.. when it blows pick another one up for 150-200 bucks

Re: Ok here goes finally finacially stable SWAP help (CBEengineering)
My plans are actually to do as follows i really just need to know what i might encounter other than the obvious head conversion (oil lines) that i need to replace as far as the B20 with more than likely a GSR head.
1. Install stock B20 vtec
2. Gather parts to completely build Motor (should take less than 6 months (sleeves pistons rods valves cams crank bolt ons everything)
3. disassemble and send block to shop to be sleeved stroked etc.
4 reassemble motor
5. Baby the hell out of it for 1500 miles or so...
6. Run it a few passes to see what ive created and start my K24 vtec del sol project (for my wife..heheh....gonna pay to have this done i think.)
