obd2a and obd2b integra DC2 engine harness differences??? Need this answered ASAP
I asked this in the integra forum and havent gotten a reply... so...
Just at the title says i did a search and couldnt really come up with an answer... are 96-98 obd2a and 99-01 integra engine harnesses the same? or is there a difference?

Yes i am aware of that i am just wondering if the obd2a and the obd2b harnesses are the same or if there is a difference, cause i have an obd2 harness and i dont know if it is obd2a or b and i just want to know if it matters

yes there is a difference.. the obd2a have three plugs and the obd2b only have two plugs if they are 5spd... Just add the (B) plug to it if its from an automatic.. other then that they are the same.. the obd2b only has two plugs cause the third plug comes from the under dash harness. hope this helps.

The OBD2B (00-01 Integra) will have 8 wires on the distributor plug, whereas the OBD2A (96-99 Integra) will have 9. There is no blue wire for the rpm signal on the distributor plug for the 00-01 (OBD2B).
