Default OBD2 -> OBD1 ECU conversion harness, need urgent help!!

I am planning to swap my ECU (OBD2 to OBD1), using a conversion harness to plug the ECU. Looking onto wiring diagrams of a 99+ and 93 Prelude (OBD2 and OBD1 respectively) I realized that dashboard wirings are different too. But the dashboard (and main) harnesses are linked to the ECM too.

So the question is: if I use (and the ECU conversion harness), would it create problems with other electrical components (such as speedometer or clock)? Or they are absolutely independent of the ECU used?
