Default Obd2-b b20b into obd2-a integra no spark issue

Swapped a jdm obd2-b b20b into my obd2-a ls integra and am not getting spark. I tried using the stock dizzy and got no spark also de-pinned the dizzy plug and tried the b20b dizzy which also gave me no spark. Is there any sensor, or any other issue which would cause this. All grounds are good, the dizzys are good, and the wringing harness is a virgin. At this point I'm clueless and am extremely frustrated and disappointed.

What harness was used? What ECU was used? Are you absolutely sure the thermostat ground is good? Do you have power going to the distributor? (black/yellow wire)

Using factory obd2a wiring harness that comes in the integra. It hasn't been, and hopefully will not be, hacked up. I'm running the un-chipped p75. Despite the "that's not the right ecu...." argument, It's just to make sure the engine cranks and runs well before further fuel management is done. Thermostat ground is excellent. I loosened, re-tightened, and clean/sanded all the mating surfaces and put in a cleaner unused bolt. Getting power to dizzy plug on both sides, and the coil also seems to be functioning. Igniter also is functioning and the plug wires are brand new and plugs are new also.

EDIT: re checked the distributor parts for power and heard engine try to kick over while probing one of the plug outputs on the distributor. A spark happened with the test light and it fired up, I guess it was dumb luck. After re cranking multiple times there was no problems or hesitation.
