obd1, obd2... obdconfused
Stay with me please, because im having a hard time with this. I own a 93 ex(obd1) I plan on putting in a 98 b18b(obd2). The guy said that he had a integra harness I could use and an obd1 ecu. He Also said that I could use my own harness. So im asking, how the hell is this all compatible? He says hes used his 93 civic harness+98 b18b+obd1 ecu... I thought all of this doesnt work. Doesnt the obd2 require more sensors? Dont the fuel injectors require something else aslo? Thanks.

i believe your harness should plug in, and if you use an obd1 LS ecu it should work fine
i DONT KNOW FOR SURE...but i believe it goes somethin like that

So I can swap the 98 b18b into my car, use my 93 civic harness, and use an obd1 LS ecu and everthing will be plug and play? I wont have to wire in any sensors or anything like that?

Re: obd1, obd2... obdconfused (PUSHER)
i have been told that the 92-95 civics have all the wiring needed for b series motors, unless they have vtec, then they are missing 3 wires (vtec actuation, knock sensor, and somethin else)
im pretty sure it should be fine, but i would wait till someone else that definately knows this info can verify this
im hella tired, and could be mistaken, so take it however you want
goodluck man

yeas all of this is correct. you can use the existing harness in you obd1 civic. you will need an obd1 ecu, obd1 distributor, and obd1 injectors to make this work right. (the injectors in your stock d series motor will work.) the obd2 motor will have more sensors on it, but the obd1 ecu will not look for those sensors. i know of 2 people who have done swaps like this and both have run just fine.hope this helps!
