Default obd1 LS in a CRX (wont start) NEED HELP my only car ^_^

k... i have an obd1 LS, using obd0 LS ecu, using 89 CRX si harness...getting fuel, getting spark, fires are correct order, have compression...USING obd1 distrib.

it cranks, starts, and dies.... i have a few questions...

i believe im using the wrong distributor...which one should i be using? at first i thought obd0 LS distrib. but the connector is a square with 6 pins, the crx harness is circle with 7 pins. and the holes dont line up to bolt....WHICH DISTRIB. SHOULD I BE USING???

the other is which map sensor should i be using. should u just plug into the Ls map sesonr on the intake manifold, or should i remove the the LS sensor, tap the vacume hole and use the CRX map sensor on the firewall and run the vaccum line to the tap?

what distrib? and which MAP sensor?, if u can please help... post reply, emial...call 2063832646

THANKS - erwin

You should be using a 90-91 LS distributor. It plugs right in. The OBD-1 distributor will not work unless you change the ECU to OBD-1. Keep it though just in case.

Plug in the map sensor on top of the throttle body and you should be set.

You have to use the 90-91 integra intjector to.
And you must use the 90-91 LS assembly that has the map sensor, purge release, and fuel pressure cut-of soliniod mounted to one braket. The Si has all of that but fuel pressure cut-of soliniod so you must run one wire back to pin A10 on the ecu to wire it. You car will run with out doing this but it will be rick as all hell and bog at lower rpms.

I just swap a 92 B18A1 into my 90 Civic Si so i kinda of went though the same thing you goin though.

All you need is a 90-91 Ls Dist.. And the holes do line up I think the one you thought was an ODD-O was not and ls one.. My bro has been running a B18B in his car for over a year now you just have to have The OBD-O dist and Fuel injectors the ones out of your CRX will be fine... Also make sure to use the stock MAP on your firewall not the one on the T/B.
