obd1 jdm b18c into obd2 integra questions
blew my motor so i went out and bought a jdm b18c motor(cheaper).
they say i need to change the oil pump in the obd1 jdm motor because my engine has an oil pump with a sensor in it. Was wondering if anyone knew what wuold happen if i didnt change the oil pump and just left it without the sensor there.
obd1 motor to obd2 car. change injectors, change dizzy ...correct?
take wiring harness of my motor and put it onto the jdm motor correct?
thanks

If you do not add the crank sensor, you will get a CEL for it. It will run, but if you have to pass emissions, you need to add the OBD2 oil pump and lower timing belt gear.

If you put the USDM harness on the OBD1 JDM motor, you will have to change the injectors (clips), distributor, alt, and a few other things. Lay the USDM harness on the JDM motor, you will get a better idea of what you need to change.
