So to start off, a few years ago I purchased a 91 crx with a type r swap also with the hydro transmission on it.. Long story short it got stolen and I've been on the hunt for a clean Rex and I have finally found one. I gathered up a 95 gsr swap also with a hydro trans..

Im planning on getting the swap done in the next few weeks. My only problem is, and hopefully someone can guide me in the right direction is how do I keep my original crx cluster knowing it's a cable speedo and the trans is electronic vss?


I'm gonna keep the original obd-0 engine harness and get a jumper harness for the obd-1 ecu..

any help would be greatly appreciated!

I swapped an EK cluster in mine because of this. If you really want to keep your current cluster I think you have to source some sort of speed sensor which has both the electric output for the ECU and the gear for the old cable. Couldn't tell you where to find something like that though.
