Default Obd1 engine in a obd2 car

Hey guys, I'm having a lot of trouble with an engine swap I'm trying to finish... My car had a f22b2 (1997 accord ex auto) and I just installed a f22a1 from a 1992 accord since I'm running my stock 97 ecu, I kept my stock intake manifold and transmission so there should be no issues there. But when it comes to the ckf sensor bypass trick it won't work. So my question is if I install the entire oil pump/balance shaft gear assembly into my 92 block and run my 97 distributor it should run properly... Right? I just thought I'd ask before investing even more time into this
