Default obd1 b18c into obd2 car using obd2 car harness and ecu jumper harness

Ok heres the situation, we have an obd2 car that were swapping a 94 (obd1) b18c1 into. We are keeping the car obd1 but using the original car harness (obd2). Were using an obd1 (chipped p72) ecu with a jumper harness. We swapped the plugs on the obd1 dizzy for an obd2 plug (so we could use the obd1 dizzy with the obd2 car harness) Vtec is not wired up yet but all other preliminary connections are. We fired up the car..it started...we had to idle it manually because we hadnt installed the gsr throttle cable or tps yet. When we tried to start it up again it wouldnt fire up...the dizzy was giving no more spark. So we changed the ignitor and coil (from the obd2 nonvtec distributor we had lieing around) and it still wont give any spark. My question is what could be the problem? Why would the dizzy all of a sudden just stop giving spark and wont give spark after we used a different coil and ignitor? Any help is appreciated
