obd1 b18c GSR into EF civic?
Hi,
looking into doing this swap, but im unsure as to how the loom/wiring should be best done?
any advice before i start the swap would be greatly appreciated. The b18c swap is a hydro box, so i guess ill have to swap the hydro parts in and run the hydro box, (this should solve any issues with the VSS and the older cable style plug for the VSS sensor issue).
The other concerns are more about what I should do with the loom?

You can buy the hasport mounts that include the cable to hydro conversion, so you can use the hydro tranny in your EF.
For the wiring, you need to reuse your stock EF engine harness. Then you need to swap over any of the obd1 electical connectors that are needed(injector clips, distibutor clips, fan switch connector, etc). You also need to delete the injector resistor box(since the obd1 injectors dont require them).
Lastly, you need to purchase a obd0 to obd1 ecu jumper harness. The jumper harnesses that I have used come with extra wires that you can run for vtec solenoid, vtec oil pressure switch, knock sensor, IABs, and 4 wire o2 sensor.
