Default OBD0 Swap into EK w/ hydro tranny

I wanna build up a DOHC VTEC block for turbo...don't really care if its B16, or B18, or whatever. I can get a first gen B16A w/ cable tranny. I don't really want to keep the cable tranny, so could I use a hydro tranny with the newer style mounts from the 99-00 SI? or are the mounts a lot different then the 2nd gen B16A's that come with Hydrotrannies? I mean I know they make cable tranny mounts for EK's but I wanted to get a newer style hydro tranny.
this block would seriously be built up before it ever got into my car...like sleeves pistons, everything...

also, hows the wiring...I wanted to eventually go with a Hondata system which requires OBD1, but arn't these first gen B16A's OBD0? could I wire that into my OBD2 car?

can any vtec heads go on these even the new ones? thanks in advance...

save yourself the hassle and just get an obd-1 b16 and then a obd2-obd1 jumper harness.

with all the money youd spend modifying the 1st gen b16, its worth it to get a 2nd gen.
