Re: obd0-1 conversion wont start (Furry)
obd 1 of course
|
Re: obd0-1 conversion wont start (CIV616)
no codes and no spark....... check the coil and make sure the icm is hooked up properly

Re: obd0-1 conversion wont start (CIV616)
are you using an ecu jumper that you bought from somewhere or did you hack up your EF harness and apply the OBD1 female ecu plugs?
|
Re: obd0-1 conversion wont start (Katman)
he is using an ecu jumper that he bought, using the stock CRX SI wiring harness.
We had to splice on the OBD1 injectors clips (and remove the resistor box) and the OBD1 distributor plugs, but this was just a matter of matching colors. He added wires for VTEC and such from the ecu jumper. |
Re: obd0-1 conversion wont start (red civic standard)
not all ecu jumpers are plug and play it depends on what modifications are on the obd0 side ie: ELD is not there and i believe p28's look for that and the pr3 obd0 ecu's dont.

Re: obd0-1 conversion wont start (Fobtions)
ELD wire is there.
I remember that when doing my conversion, I had to switch a couple of the distributor wires. I matched the colors and no bueno. I had to switch 2 sensors locations. Sorry I cant be more specific, it was a long time ago. |
Re: obd0-1 conversion wont start (Slurp56)
problem is solved.
bad ignition coil led to no spark. clogged fuel injectors led to wet plugs. |
