OBD II B18 into 1990 Integra GS: monster garage style

We want to put a B18 from a 2000 integra into a 1990 integra. And we want to make it OBD I. And we only have 5 days to do it.

What we have:
B18 Block
B18 head, milled, p&p, and completely disassembled
Gaskets
OBD I intake manifold, tb, and associated sensors
ECU, alternator, and wiring harness from a 1995 integra LS
1990 integra GS
Clutch and flywheel from a 2000 integra type R

Im gonna start assembling the engine tonight. The head should be back on the block by wednesday. The entire engine should be assembled by friday. The engine needs to be running by sunday.

Anyone around whos done this swap, if you have any tips, let me know.

i think im gonna have some troubles with the wiring. i have the engine wiring harness, but how am i gonna get those main plugs to the ecu. do i need to get part of the chassis wiring harness form a OBDI car and splice it in? also, i have obdII injectors from the 2000 integra. Do i have to do anything to get those to work with the obdI ecu?

Do a search on http://www.g2ic.com. I just read a very informative post in the teg/tips section on the OBD0 to OBD1 conversion.

its day five and the project is almost done. the engine is mounted, and lines are connected. all that needs to be done now is wiring, and the suspension and exhaust need to be hooked back up. wish us luck

not nice is selling someone a clutch that you advirtised for the wrong car and then not refunding the money back.

i told you to just send the clutch back, and ill refund your money. and this forum is not the place to discuss this. you know my email address.

as far as this thread goes... if anyone is thinking of doing this swap, i documented everything i did. i would highly recommend going over the wiring, or just buying a conversion harness. it was such a nighmare rewiring the harness one wire at a time from OBD0 to OBD1.
