Default Notchy Gearbox

The shift into 4th gear, there is a "Notch" feeling or hesitation before it will go into gear. I decided to do some testing and this is what I found. Its weird because if I turn the car on and let it idle, then shift into 4th, I will feel this notch. But if I still keep the clutch depressed and shift back into neutral and then into 4th gear again, it will go into gear smoothly. I also noticed that there is still alot of side to side play in the shifter when in gear (not sure if that is normal?).

I opened the gearbox when I installed an LSD and there were no signs of damage or wear at all. I also replaced the clutch master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, and the line running between the two with Earl's stainless line/AN fitting. Im really stumped at this point.

This is an Evolution H2B kit, but from reading, I dont think that Im having the same problems as others on HT. I also have a stock LS Integra that has the same "Notchy" feeling shifting. Any ideas?
