Not able to shift into gears...86 Civic w/B16 swap
Alright, just swapped in a JDM B16A with factory LSD tranny into a 86 Civic Si. Here's my problem: When the car is sitting at idle, I am not able to get the car into gear. When forced, it crunches. The clutch cable seems to be engaging the clutch, the fork moves as it should. It has a brand new Clutchmasters clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bearing. Also a new Clutchmasters 7.5 lb flywheel was installed at the same time. I've done clutch swaps before and never had a problem and just can't figure this one out. The tranny will shift into its appropriate gears when sitting with the car not running, so it has something to do with it when its running. Any ideas? Its almost like the clutch is not mating to the flywheel allowing it to match the speed of the gears, thus not allowing it to engage into gear. Please help!!
Thanks!
Thanks!
