Default No Vtec in just finished swap!

Alright I just finished a swap( 92 hatch cx with a b16a2 ) The problem is I am not hitting vtec.

I am useing a cx harness with a the vtec selonoid wired directly to the ECU. The only CEL I am getting is from the speed sensor and the O2....could either of these cause it to not craoss over to vtec. also I tried a stock p28 ecu and a chiped p28 with skunk 2 programming. any ideas guys...anything else I can check and double check. thanx.

did you run the vtec pressure sensor wire? did you ground the pressure sensor?

Vtec won't work without the speed sensor connected. Get the code 17 cleared and the Vtec will work.

does your tach work!? do you have one? alot of times vtech will not be activated due to the ecu not knowing where your at on rpms...ecus are weird like that...have you tried to hook up your vss?

HUH??

The ecu always knows what RPM the motor is at. The guage isn't necessary. Ever heard of swapping a B swap in a car with no tach? The Vtec still works.......

Vtec looks at these variables:

Speed
Engine temp
Oil pressure
