I am starting the new year with a clutch problem. There is no pressure on the pedal it just go to the floor, I am having trouble getting it to go in gear. What could be the problem? I have a h22 in a 90 accord. I am stuck out of town with few tools or manuals Help is needed.

sounds like a slave cylinder problem the piston tends to go out if there is a lot of hard shifting going on, check your clutch master cylinder to see if there is any fluid in it that will tell you if you have a problem too

You probably have air in the clutch hydraulic line.

You'll just need to get Dot 3 brake fluid, and bleed your clutch.

You can bleed your clutch by purchasing a clear tube about 2 feet long, and I'm not exactly sure on the tubbing size, but it must fit over the clutch bleeder valve on the slave cylinder.

Put some brake fluid in an empty coke can or something, and put the tub in there so there is no possibility of air being sucked, and put the other end of the tube on the bleeder valve.

Have a friend pump the clutch about 10-15 times, then stop and have the clutch pedal out.

Then open the bleeder valve slowly and let all the air bubbles come out.

Repeat this whole process until you have absolutely no air coming out of the bleeder valve.

PS -> While your friend is pumping the clutch, make sure the clutch master cylinder is always in good supply of brake fluid in there. If it runs low or is empty, it could have pumped in more air and you'll have to start all over again.

Thanks for the advice. I checked the small resevoir and it was empty. There was no fluid in the engine compartment. Where eles could this leak be ? Should i just pour some brake fluid in the resevoir and see where it goes? Where did the fluid go that was there in the first place? Need advice on what to do next.

Maybe your bleed valve wasn't closed all the way,or your line is busted. There is only so many places it can go.
