no codes thrown, but there should be...
I got it (h22 in '976 cx) to start today. At first it threw a few codes. After rearranging a few of the plugs (had them on the wrong sensors), I now am throwing no codes. I know this isn't right though... I'm using a p13 ecu in a '97 civic cx (OBDI converted). I haven't ran wires for the knock sensor, EGR, exhaust gas recirculation valve/solenoid/any of that stuff. But no check engine light.
Any thoughts? I think it'd be a lot easier to wire correctly if I know what's wrong, but it won't give me any codes.

Knock won't throw a code until VTEC kicks in. EGR? is it a CA car? Do you mean evap purge? If so that won't throw a code until it tries to come on... most stuff on the engine won't throw codes right away, even the O2 (unless it's unplugged) Sounds like you did a good job to me.... Sean

If it's an OBD 1 ecu, it's not going to be looking for any of that stuff.
That's why you don't have any codes.
Nothing to worry about...unless you want to run an OBD 2 ecu in the future.
