Default New kind of G23 - do you think it will work?

Hey all,

I have been eating every one (pirate / AFA accord / Rosoko) mind for some time now about g23 etc.

My reading brings me to this spec:

H22a block - darton replacement sleves - 89mm bore
K20 pistons - C/D - 30 - pin is same 22" and no issues with FRM due to sleves
F23 race eng rods - again pin is 22" (same as h22 and f23)
F23 crank - 97 stroke - 55mm mains on a h22 block 1998+
Acl bearings
ARP bolts

Head:
Crower stage 3 cams ( i know not the best)
Super tech valvetrain
Port match - mild port work
header
BMC Street manifold
70mm TB

Now compression and numbers.
Using CP flat tops - 11.42:1 ( almost perfect for daily driver running 87-89ron)
Gasket - OEM 3 layer (0.026)
Displacement: 2413cc
Rod to stroke ration: 1.45:1 -
Mean piston speed: 2147fps
Piston to deck: 0.00

My GOALS:
Stroker motor
RELIABLE
Make power 275-300hp

SO WHAT YOU THINK - such a mix would work? Is my research solid?

Please discuss this

Kind Regards

And yes we could use a f23 block - but my idea is to stroke the h22.

Trying to do a good job with least possible funds.

Please give opinions.

This would be a very interesting setup, I would love to run an N/A G23, looking to start building one myself! I'll defiantly be keeping an eye on this tread! While I may be of no real assistance other than cheering you on, I would love to see this build running how you want it to! Good luck!

I was going to do almost the same thing a few years ago. I had an H22 block sitting around, F23 crank, but using an H23 nonvtec head.
