New HCP EF Crossmember w/adjustable Radius Rods

New HCP EF Crossmember w/adjustable Radius Rods
Here is the HCP's new EF crossmember replacement. It's made of 4130 chrome moly construction and is 100% TIG welded. The radius rods are connected via heim joints and are adjustable. It comes with a front mount bracket designed for the HCP EF-18X mount kit, and the crossmember has more than enough clearance to clear a JDM 4-1 header. There are also tabs for half a radiator (EG/EK style) and is very light weight (about 1/3 the weight of a stock crossmember). With the radius rods, this will help prevent wheel hop.
Available colors? Standard chrome moly or powdercoated black. I am selling these so email me for any questions (I don't want to make this a "for sale" post, but rather an informative post regarding their new very strong, light-weight, EF crossmember). Enjoy.

Re: New HCP EF Crossmember w/adjustable Radius Rods (Newman)
What is up for the EG guys. Since Z10 doesnt work for our h22 applications I would love to have a front crossmember that acts as a traction bar killing two birds with one stone..
Looks good though and its light which is always a plus..

The EG H22 front crossbar is almost ready... just doing some fitment tests now.
Never heard or seen of an "ag" engineering product before.

lol Not really but I am awaiting your research. That will definately make my swap more complete.. Now as far as the crossmemember, I assume it uses the wishbone mount in the front and the bracket.. I hope I didnt though mines out.. hehe
And if and when you do finish the EG ones please look into a sexier red option. Much better than flat black..

Probably the same manufacturer that makes it for ag-engineering... but I've never heard of "ag" before, so HCP didn't make a knock-off, but is instead carrying this now with their own custom measurements and design to it so it works with their EF-18X kit. The picture I posted up is a raw pict that isn't painted, nor does it have the tabs on it for the radiator or a few other things done to it. The crossmember is fully chrome moly and TIG welded - none of the HCP mounts are like that so it's not a knock-off... just a new piece that they're now carrying.
Only difference I see are the measurements and price.

Think of it like this.... the "cheap" CF duckbill wings are all made by the same manufacturer also. JHP, Aerospeed, and other companies all received (or have in the past) these wings and sold them.... maybe even called them their own wings but whatever, you get the point. HCP has some plans on other ideas and yes, H22 traction bars for both the EK and EG swaps are in the works.

As long as they function well, are good quality, and cost resonably........that is all that is imprtant to me.

Re: New HCP EF Crossmember w/adjustable Radius Rods (SLPR)
is one gonna be made for the DA chassis? and how much ground clearance does it have compared to stock? I rather have one of these then the place racing crossmember cuz the place racing one hangs kinda low.

Didn't mean to stir up anything but I just wanted to state that there was another product which is the basically the same thing. I really don't care someone else manufactured it first, just as long as the piece works as designed and the pricing is very competitive

Re: New HCP EF Crossmember w/adjustable Radius Rods (Newman)
FYI, ag-engineering also does not make these... they get them from the same manufacturer. I'm not going to start **** with this, but just showing what HCP carries to work with their kit, and affordable price (I'll post prices and more info on my website shorty).

1) HCP does NOT make this.
2) AG-E does NOT make this either, BUT we contribute input into what is done on these bars.
So what exactly did HCP do in the production of this bar that warrants the HCP name?
