Hey guys...finally got done putting my new built motor [mini-itr] motor in my hatch..

anyways go to crank it over, and it wouldnt crank. Realized that firiing order was wrong and a sensor wasnt plugged in all the way in the starter..

So we fix that stuff, and goto crank it again today and it's real close but it just doesnt want to turn on and stay on..!!!

What could be the problem, I dropped my dizzy when I was re-assemblying my motor, wondering if thats the problem...

so frustrated, want to sell the car now!!

heh, i know how you feel mang. I want to sell my car and get something with awd or rwd with torque. I'm tired of jacking around with my motor and car.

So the starter turns the motor, but it just doesn't want to stay on? are you sure you're getting fuel and spark? Good luck with the motor

So its turning over and starting but wont stay running?

Check make sure its getting fuel and double check the timing.

timing or grounds, probably.

sounds to me that your engine is flooded and/or fouled plugs with fuel. open the throttle WOT and try starting is should start within seconds.

grounds are there.... could something broke in the distributor when i dropped it?

have you rechecked the timing to make sure it is not off?
