If you purchased a usdm Si swap, then you can use the Si's engine harness. You will have to wire something somewhere I believe. Not sure though..

do a search, there's lots of info on this site.

You'll have to rewire both the interior and exterior looms... I've had to do this before and the best way to make it look clean which is the only way i like things is to pull apart the whole 95 CX loom and rework it for your B16. Then take apart the interior loom and run all the new lines into it as well... Besides the 4 wire oxygen sensor you'll have to run wires for VTS, VTM, and KS.. Good luck

DO NOT use the si harness.
The '99-'00 harness goes through the firewall straight to the ecu, while your '95 cx engine harness goes the the passanger side strut tower. There it hooks to another harness that goes to your ecu and in under the dash.

Also, you dont need to tear into any harnesses.

Just purchase an obd2 gsr or type R engine harness.
That will hook directly to your motor(with no modifications) and also connect directly to your main harness (on the passanger side strut tower).

Then I would recommend using a rechipped p28 ecu (email "Kenji" on this board for prices).
If you use the p28 ecu, the only thing you will need to do is add a few wires for vtec. Thats it.

No need to modify your stock harness or your main harness.

Slopoke, how do you figure that you don't have to rewire the interior loom.... You can get away with what you said about the engine loom but that just costs extra money... It isn't that hard to rework that harness for VTEC and for a 4 wire oxygen sensor... The '95 CX interior loom doesn't come with VTEC, VTM, KS, etc. so i don't see how you are saying that you can just leave it alone... Peace

If he uses a rechipped p28 ecu (runs an obd1 program & doesnt use knock sensor), then the only wires that need to be added are for vtec.

Im running a '97 ITR motor in my '92 cx (interior harness is pre-wired for vtec).
All I did was plug the itr harness into my stock cx interior harness and then plug in a rechipped p28. That's it. Everything runs perfect.

Also, he could sell the SI engine harness to purchase the integra vtec harness
and sell the SI ecu to purchase the rechipped p28.
So it may cost a little bit, but it's much easier, IMO.

That's what he needs to do. The Si harness and ecu is worthless to an OBDI car.

Either wire you CX harness for Vtec or get a 94-95 GSR harness. Then get a chipped OBDI ecu and your will be happy.
