need wiring help 90 hatch with sir1
I am swaping a b16 sir1 into a 90 civic dx hatch. I was trying to figure out if the wiring needs to be changed at the main relay. The dx is diffrent than the si wiring on the main relay. The power wire to the injectors is before the relay in the si and after the relay on the dx. Thanks

This will help with converting the wiring harness .Do The same as they do you just have to add Vtec wiresand a few others.

you don't mess with the main relay..
do what that site says.. then you have to add wires for vtec solenoid, vtec oil pressure, knock sensor, 2nd o2 sensor.
these are easy once you do the other wiring first.
also.. convert to MPFI first cuz you can get the motor running on that, then add vtec wires.

Also check out HASport's site at www.hasport.com. They have wiring charts that might help you out. But as for the main relay, there are no changes made there like other people have stated. The changes are the DPFI to MPFI wiring, switching throttle position sensor wires, adding the Cylinder Position sensor, O2 sensors, Knock sensor and then the VTEC wiring.

I had a low voltage problem on the yellow-black wire at the injector resistor. I have fixed the problem. Thanks for your help. This motor wouldn't run at first and figured out that it must have sat a long time before we bought it from place racing. All four injectors were completly gummed up from stale fuel.
