Default 1994 civic cx with h22 swap- drivers side axle rub-

Hey guys, just bought a 94' hatch with a Jdm h22a swap in it for cheap, And now I know why. Went to replace some broken wheel studs, and came across the drivers side axle rubbing against the fork. The passenger side looks to have about a .25-.5 inch of clearance from the fork.

Little background on the car:

*It was originally slammed on the ground, but I raised it up about an inch.

*Guy went backyard ghetto cheap with everything.

*The alignment is really badly off.

*Complete **** wiring job.

What can cause rubbing of the axle on the fork? I will post up pictures tomorrow.

Any info will help get me in the right direction with this car.
