need some info on JDM motor ASAP.. thanks a lot
Sup all.. firslty happy new year guys 
secondly, guys i was looking into buying a 95 MR2 non-turbo model but its swapped with a JDM turbo motor... i am getting it for dirt cheap as this guy whom i know thru a frined... is buying a mini van as he has a kid now.. so he need some money for a down payment on a used van..
anywyas what i really want to know is that.. its a JDM motor .. will that ever bring up any kinda issues ? or im safe with it.. also is it illegal to have and what all do i need to make sure abt the paper work.. as the car is in perfect condition and i need to make a decision fast.. so plzz let me know what all do i need to keep in mind when it comes to a JDM motor being swapped in that mr2.. thanks for any kinda help guys and be safe.. bbye

The last time I checked, this was the Hybrid forum for Honda-Tech not Toyota-Tech.

u r a pretty big *** man.. im asking abt the motor ? its JDM is it legal ? which has nuttin to do with honda or toyota u ***... if u cant help plzz dont post ur thoguths keep them to urself..

-JDM motors are legal if it is the same year or newer than the car
-Has the proper emissions equipment
-And if you see the State Ref. and pass smog to obtain a bar sticker
