need some help! 99ex to d16z
i have a 99' EX . and i blew the motor, due to time and money contraints im using my friends 95 si motor (d16z i think) mine is an AUTO (i know, i know) and his is a manual. so we are ONLY swapping engines. will i need anything part wise? the engine was IN another car, so we have ALL the pieces...any help would be GREATLY appreciated...

Well, to make life easier, I would use your existing EX intake manifold and all sensors, as well as the exhaust manifold.. You may run into a problem with the distributor issue, as they don't exactly interchange properly.. In this case, I would use the 92-95 distributor.. You will have a check engine light for the lack of the crankshaft fluctuation sensor, but if it gets too annoying, you can use an OBD1 ecu and that will solve the problem.. Off the top of my head, that about covers it..
