Need Info on Motor Swap
What's up everyone, I'm new here and also new to motor swapping. So I have a 93 civic ex with a d16z6 engine that has seized rods. I'm gonna be buying a new motor soon and was thinking of getting a b20b. In order to do the swap essentially what all would I need to buy to make it happen? and is it possible to use the d16z6 tranny or no? sorry for the noob questions but any advice will be greatly appreciated, thanks

Re: Need Info on Motor Swap
You need an OBD1 B20B and a B series hydraulic transmission
You need a new ECU
You need a 94-01 Integra MT T bracket
You need 94-01 Integra axles
You need b series shift linkage
That's pretty much it. Easy swap.

Definitely the S4C LSD out of the JDM 96-00 CTR. Short gearing, proper LSD, dual carbon synchros on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.
You'll also need different radiator hoses (integra) and potentiallydifferent motor and trans mounts.

yeah, already planned in changing out old radiator with a new one when i got the new engine which would have included new hoses. so where are some good places to check out for some of these parts?

You will also need a LS Integra style intake manifold... that is, unless you intend to use a B20Z engine with the short box style intake manifold.
