Need info on 1982 Civic 1500
Just picked up a 1982 Civic 1500 hatchback, with the 2 speed Hondamatic auto trans. The motor got hot, blew a headgasket and most likely warped the block. So basically, I am looking for info on any kind of swap. I've been told the older Accord and Prelude 1.8 fits, like those from a 1982-1985? Either that, or something close.. I am not looking for something that needs a shitload of fabrication like a B18C. Just something simple.
If anyone is in the know on these cars, shoot me an email or reply to this topic.

An Accord 1.8L motor from 1982-83 should be a direct fit. 1982 Prelude also. Same emissions package, etc...
1984-5 is different.

nice.. i'll go for an 82-83 accord/prelude motor. this thing is in super good condition, so i'd like to restore it with an OE setup, or as close as possible.
