Default Need Help Please Stock D series 5 speed tranny swap.

I am doing a 5 speed tranny swap in my 97 ex coupe i have toasted my automatic tranny. My main question is i have heard that you have to buy a hasport tranny mount to get the conversion done. Does anyone know if it can be done with out that mount or do you even need it can you just swap out the mounts out of a 5 speed car.

Things i am pretty sure that i need to do the swap that i already have are tranny, hydro lines, master cylinder, slave cylinder, pedal assembly, shift linkage, shifter, axels, starter, b 16 5 speed ecu out of 99 si. clutch and flywheel.

Any and all info that you have would be greatfully appreciated.

With a 92-95 civic you absolutly need the conversion mount. I remember on 96 and up civic, there is a mount the bolts up the frame rail and there a bracket the bolts on the tranny. I've never seen a auto 96 and up civic so could you post a picture of the frame rail?

hey just to let you know i found out for a fact that on 96-00 civic ex,s you dont need the conversion mount all you need is the stock tranny bracket that mounts to the top of the tranny case with the two nutts and the small bolt. And that bolts directly up to the stock motor mount on the frame.
